Over the summer, our friends at Transportation Alternatives brought us pamphlets to distribute highlighting biking laws, tips, and precautions for cyclists. These were a huge hit in our store! We managed to hand out over 100 booklets in two months. We think this concept was such a great idea, especially considering the amount of cyclists in New York. If we want to make bike lanes safer and bike commuting a more accepted form of transportation, everyone needs to be aware of the rules of the road.
Luckily, we were able to find an online version of these Biking Rules, so if you can’t seem to get your hands on the booklet, you can at least read about them online. Ride on! Stay safe!
