Last month Demano, a design company from Barcelona, Spain, released the Demano Brompton Bag, a new line of bag designed specially for the Brompton Folding Bike. At that time, the Demano Bags featured five distinct designs, ranging from subtle understated greys, to wild colors and shapes. Now, for the first time, a brand new design has been added to the line up!
A bit about the Demano Brompton Bags
Like the traditional Brompton Folding Basket, the Demano Brompton Bags are designed to be mounted on the front of the bike. With dimensions of 30 x 42 x 14 CMS they will carry pretty much whatever you might need, groceries, a sack lunch, sunglasses, I can personally verify that they will fit a full 6 pack of bottled beer. They also have a special slot for a laptop or Tablet, and don’t worry, its completely waterproof.
The Demano Brompton Bags also emphasize the importance of reducing our carbon footprint. Each bag is made with entirely recycled materials, drawing primarily from old PVC advertising banners. The great designs found on the bags are are often just a re-orienting of the original designs found on the banners.

The newest addition to the line-up of Demano Brompton bags is bright yellow surrounding a large grey semi-circle. To me the layout of the design is somewhat modern, something you wouldn’t find that out of place in the Mo Ma, or a Lichtenstein painting. But the bright yellow makes it feel a bit more playful and fun, like that bright colored T-shirt that you can’t help but wear whenever you go to the beach.
