Dija transported her Brompton folding bike on an airline using the Brompton B-Bag. If you’ve ever watched airport security chuck luggage ten feet in the air, you know how risky it is to use a soft bag for the Brompton folding bike. She came to us with the mangled bag, which had a bent bottom plate and a zipper that was torn off the side. After some touch-up paint and a few replacement parts, the bike is riding fine. However, she was at a loss with her bag. She wondered if we could do anything to fix it.
When we contacted Brompton with her problem, they were surprised. The B-Bag isn’t supposed to break like that! So they gave Dija a brand new B-Bag, and warned her about the danger of checking the B-Bag as airline cargo. Needless to say, Dija is investing in a Travel Suitcase for her next trip.
At least she has a brand new B-Bag to carry her brand new Titanium Brompton Folding Bike to the US Championship race this weekend. She’s overjoyed.
