The new battery option from BionX
I don’t have to list the reasons why BionX is one of our most popular electric bike conversion kits. The intuitive torque sensors provide a smooth pedal-assistance, in addition to a throttle for a quick speed boost. The BionX electric motor kit is not only the most versatile electric motor kit, it also has various motor and battery options.
The newest option for 2010 is the BionX rack-mount battery. This alternative to the water-bottle/univeral mount installs easily to most non-powered bicycles using a BionX rear rack designed specially with a battery connector rail and safety lock. It’s easier to install, and looks sleeker than mounting the universial mountable battery on a standard rear rack.
The new BionX rear rack battery is available for the 350 watt BionX bike kit and the 500 watt BionX motor kit. The new BionX rear rack option now cames with an included 6 and 12 volt accessory plug that can power your cell phone, laptop or even a 110 volt appliance if used with a DC-converter, pretty neat-eh? Unlimited possibilities, you might be able to recover some of the cost by offering a cell phone recharge service for $3 a pop in your favorite park?
