Actual pictures of the Stromer electric bicycle

by Peter on July 18, 2011

It was my pleasure to hand over not one, but two (!) Stromer electric bikes today. The lucky guy was buying one for himself and one for his – very lucky – female friend. A great gift to be sure, these electric bikes are some of the best that have ever come through our store. But because I’ve never seen these bikes in person before I though it would be fun to do a bit of a photo shoot style blog.

I love how the Stromer battery is stored inside the frame. It makes for a very discrete electric bicycle. The battery slides right out of the frame and can be charged on or off the bike. The purple finish is pretty cool, a high tech look.

The powerful 600 watt motor of the Stromer bike can take you from 0 to 20 in a few quick seconds and has dual modes. It either assists you automatically with a pedal assistance mode or gives you a moped style throttle with power on demand mode. A nice touch to this sophisticated ebike that is sure to make many US customers very happy.

Turns out the picture I posted in last week’s Stromer bike blog was not accurate! I took that photo off the Swiss website. Actually the console that comes on US bikes is pictured above. It is actually a very clear and simple layout used on many electric bicycles these days. All the buttons have a positive feel and it is very easy to read.

If you’ve been in the market for an electric bike but haven’t yet found one that can satisfy all your needs, check out the Stromer electric bike. This one seems to have it all.

We cannot ship full sized electric bicycles internationally unless it’s within North America. If you’re in England I’d say best bet is to get one from Switzerland. -Peter

I live in Veracruz-Mexico and just received my STROMER Elite and after charging the battery couldn’t wait to give it a try. Dirst thing to say is that the feeling forces you to say WOW. First push on pedal makes the bike star and the harder you push, the faster it goes. It’s like riding a bike that has very little weight. Once you get used to a rithm, the trip turns very confortable and of course: NO SWED at all, but it forces you to move anyhow. I would say and recommend this bycicle for 50 years old men and women and up. Just so amazing that I stoped using my Vespas. A real toy to ENJOY and you better believe it. If you don’t, just give it a try. TNXS STROMER.
